What we believe!

God is real. He created the world, he created us. The Bible is God’s Word and is 100% accurate.

Because we do stuff wrong (sin), we have broken God’s law and will be judged one day. Because we aren’t perfect and sinless, we will be sent to hell.

BUT (and it’s a big one!) God loved us so much that instead of sending us to hell because we had broken his laws, he sent his Son instead – Jesus Christ – who did live a perfect life and then gave up his life by dying on the cross to take the punishment for all the sins we have committed.

And that’s not the end of the story – Jesus rose again (came alive!) three days later and he is alive today!

Jesus wants to be your best friend, wants to save you from hell and wants to see you in Heaven one day – but for that to happen you have to accept you have broken God’s laws and without him you are lost. Ask for forgiveness (say sorry), and believe in God and everything He says in His Word and follow him.

One day Jesus will return and take all of us who have accepted him as our Saviour and best friend home to heaven with him.

Our job is to go out into the world and preach the Gospel and teach people about Jesus so that they won’t be lost and won’t go through life not knowing about our awesome Saviour Jesus!

John 3:16 - “For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten Son, that whoever believes in him won’t perish but will have everlasting life” - Yay - God loved YOU so much he sent Jesus to die for you, and if you believe in him, you won’t be sent to hell, you’ll get to live in Heaven forever with Jesus! How awesome!
