All about Natalie…

Natalie Miller is a full-time itinerant minister specialising in children and family ministry. She has been a ventriloquist for over 20 years and with her unique brand of humour and puppets she presents fantastic Gospel messages which are funny but also have a solid message weaved throughout.

During 1999-2004 when Natalie was working as a secular performer, she was honoured to be nominated for 10 national performing awards including 2 prestigous MO awards for “Best New Talent” and “Best Sight Act” as well as 8 ACE (Australian Club Entertainment) awards for “Best New Talent”, “Best Children’s Performer” and “Best Sight Act”. She was booked for important jobs such as the Victor Chang Annual “Fresh” Ball and at Kids Universe.

Sally Squad is Natalie’s Christian childrens TV show and it is highly acclaimed throughout Australia and New Zealand and can be seen on the Australian Christian Channel. DVD’s are available on the website and at all good Christian bookstores.

What we do…

Natalie speaks/performs at Pastors Conferences (National Apostolic Conference), Kids Pastor Conferences (Kidshaper), big kids events such as Kidfest (at the Rod Laver Arena in 2006) and Kidsong (Hillsong kids conference) as well as family services, youth services and any special event.  All ages find Natalie’s sense of humour appealing and love the unique way that Natalie presents the Gospel and speaks God’s truths.

A Natural Talent

When Natalie was inspired by her Year 6 teacher at her Christian school, she found a simple hand puppet and adapted her for ventriloquism, naming her “Candy Christian”, later to become Sally. Her parents were not surprised, after all, they’d always said she could “talk under wet cement”. In her first talent quest that year, Natalie received perfect scores and was dubbed “the next Shari Lewis” by the judges.

Her natural talent to entertain all ages with her talent has kept her busy since her teenage years working professionally for both children and adults. In 2004, Natalie was called by God to just work for him (lets face it, he has a great retirement plan!), which was a scary step but she took it in faith, knowing in her heart it was exactly what she should be doing. That year, she also signed with the Australian Christian Channel for her own kids TV show “Sally Squad” (also on Shine TV - NZ).

Since then, it has been a roller coaster ride! Natalie has released 2 DVD’s, distributed with Integrity Music, toured Australia extensively, toured New Zealand and even had a short tour of Chicago, USA! 2007 sees “Sally Squad” set off on a National Tour with an all new show “Hey its the Circus”.

Her cast of crazy characters will amaze and delight, whether it is the adorable Jerry, the bossy Sally, Charlotte Bronte-sauraus or the cheeky Sparky the blue thing.

No matter your age, you will be delighted by Natalie’s characters, performance, talent and deep commitment to both her Lord and the job of sharing his word with kids.
